Massdrop x Meze 99 Noir Closed-Back Headphones – $139 + Free Shipping
The Meze 99 Noir closed-back headphones deliver audiophile-grade sound at a modest $139, with free shipping. Their walnut wood cups and memory‑foam pads provide natural isolation and lasting comfort.
Meze’s 99 Noir combines a 40 mm driver with CNC‑carved walnut ear cups, creating a balanced soundstage that leans toward natural mids and tight bass without sacrificing detail. The detachable Kevlar OFC cable, gold‑plated plug, and added damping foam pad give you a customizable listening experience while keeping the unit lightweight at 9.2 oz. At $139 after the promo code, the package includes a woven nylon case, two sets of ear pads, and a one‑year warranty—components that would typically add $40‑$60 to the total cost of a comparable set. The manganese‑spring steel headband and zinc‑alloy hardware are built for daily wear, making these headphones a cost‑per‑use choice for long‑term audiophiles. Why We Recommend It The 99 Noir offers a rare blend of premium materials, solid acoustic performance, and a price point that aligns with 2026’s focus on durability and value. It’s a practical upgrade for anyone looking to step up from entry‑level headphones without overpaying for brand premium.
