iGarden Self Watering Globes, 4 Pack – Rainbow Glass Plant Watering Bulbs, Borosilicate Self Watering Planter Inserts for Indoor & Outdoor Potted Plants, Vacation Plant Care

Coming home from a long weekend to a wilted fern is a familiar disappointment, and so is the daily guesswork of whether a busy week left your plants too dry. These glass watering globes solve both: fill each one with water, push it into the soil, and it releases moisture slowly as the soil dries out, keeping the roots steadily hydrated instead of cycling between soaked and parched. Depending on the globe size and how thirsty the plant is, one fill can cover anywhere from several days up to about a week, which is enough for most vacations and for the days you just forget.

The globes are made of extra-thick borosilicate glass fired at high temperature, which is tougher than thin decorative glass, and the rainbow finish adds a bit of color to a windowsill, balcony, or garden bed rather than looking like a utilitarian gadget. They work in indoor pots, hanging baskets, tabletop plants, and outdoor containers, at home or on an office desk, and the four-pack covers a small collection of plants in one go. If any globe breaks in shipping or use, the seller says it’s covered. For best results, match the globe to the pot size, since smaller globes suit smaller plants, and keep a close eye on thirsty plants the first time you try it.
